The Brief

We’ll ask you to put together a wish list and to send us examples of work you’ve seen and liked. We feel it’s important to start this visual dialogue early as it helps us get inside your head and really understand what you’re looking for.


We begin the design of every project with a computer generated 3D model. We use the latest technologies (BIM) to give you the chance to rapidly explore lots of options in a very cost effective way – there’s no time-consuming or expensive redrawing of plans and layouts. This also gives you the chance to actually walk through your designs and decide which one works best for you.

Getting Planning Permission 

Once you’re happy with the design and we’re happy it’s feasible, we’ll approach the planning authorities, steering the project through the planning process. On more complex projects, we often work hand in hand with planning experts who help create the legislative framework to support the application.

The fixtures and fittings 

Once planning has been granted we’ll work with you to select all elements of the design, from the materials of the façade, to the windows, doors, floor and wall finishes, fitted furniture, kitchens and bathrooms, lighting and hardware. We will also co-ordinate the other consultants that may be needed.

Finding the right contractors 

We can give you a list of contractors who have a good track record and are financially sound, each with different skills and specialisms to match the type of project. We manage the tendering process and the cost negotiations, entering into detailed discussions with the contractors and working hard to get best value for you.

The build 

Throughout the construction phase we will run your contract with the builder, carry out regular inspections, deal with queries, instruct any additional work needed, monitor progress on site, keep track of cost, value the works and certify payments due to the builder. And when the project is complete we’ll inspect and value the final works, issue certificates and check for and follow up on any last bits of snagging.
