Planning has been awarded for a new development in Portobello road, London to build a maisonette, 2 apartments and a shop.

We have successfully gained planning permission to refurbish and extend an old antiques shop and garage on Portobello Road in the Pembridge Conservation area of Kensington and Chelsea. The new development will create a new shop with market stalls and 2 one bed apartments, as well as converting the adjoining mews garage into a 3 storey maisonette. In this highly sought after vibrant location with probably the most well known antiques market, the conservation area is strictly controlled to preserve the character of the area. Despite this and following extensive consultation with the local authority permission has been granted to add an additional storey to both buildings.

Construction will being in early 2019 with the development due to be complete in the Autumn
